IMP is a problem based mathematics curriculum for high school students. Year one, introduces students to working on developing skills that will have them solve a larger problem. Students are expected to work in collaborative groups to communicate conjectures. This curriculum's goal is to engage students in rich discussions that will lead to dynamic written mathematical solutions.

 

Students are expected to complete several Problems of the Week (POW) which demonstrates their own authentic solution. POW's are essential in communicating mathematical thinking and must be completed for passing year one of IMP 1.
